Often using an Anxiety Wrap will allow him or her to sleep right through the storm. The Anxiety Wrap mainly alleviates/lessens five major conditions:
The Anxiety Wrap can help:
- any fearful, nervous, hyperactive or anxious dog become calmer.
- dogs who suffer from shyness feel more secure and gain confidence.
- dogs become calmer and focused during training lessons which helps them learn faster.
Does Your Dog Have Thunderstorm & Lightning Stress?
The Anxiety Wrap is a wonderful tool that helps animals to cope and overcome their past and present fear issues. The Anxiety Wrap is a management device that uses a technique called maintained pressure which helps to reduce stress so your dog can become calmer. Maintained pressure affects the sensory receptors that communicate with the brain and the central nervous system. While wearing the Anxiety Wrap, your dog receives input that is even, rhythmic, and repetitive, producing a calming of the mind and body.
Anxiety Wrap Relieves Storm Fear
We used the Anxiety Wrap for years with our dog Daisy, a black Labrador that was afraid of thunder, storms and lightning. It was a godsend, allowing her to calm down, relax and sleep through the night. We are proud to offer this wonderful product on PupLife.com and we highly recommend it for dogs with thunder anxiety. The manufacturer also provides, free of charge, online or phone support to help our customers understand how to properly use the Anxiety Wrap, especially in cases where the animal has severe/multiple behavioral problems.
Measuring Your Dog For The Anxiety Wrap
For the wrap to be effective, it is imperative that you measure your dog properly before placing your order. Here is how to measure your dog for an Anxiety Wrap.
Measure your dog by using a cloth measuring tape, (not a metal ruler). You may use a string and place that against a metal ruler or yard stick to determine size. 1) Use a cloth or vinyl sewing tape measure. 2) Dog needs to be standing when measured. 3) Measure the circumference of the fullest part of the dog’s ribcage (normally the girth). 4) Pull tape measure slightly snug. 5) Do NOT round off the measurement. Examples: Dog measuring between 28 and 30 15/16” would require a medium Anxiety Wrap. Dog measuring between 31 and 33 15/16” would require a large.
